A free two-day workshop at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre will give aspiring self builders the chance to get expert advice, explore the latest building methods and find inspiration for their own projects.
Anyone considering building their own home will have the opportunity to get practical advice and speak directly to industry professionals at an upcoming Self Build Workshop at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC).
Taking place on 4 and 5 September at the NSBRC in Swindon, the free event is aimed at people at all stages of the self build journey – from those still exploring their options through to those preparing to start building.
The organisers have now released the full workshop timetable, with sessions covering a range of topics designed to help visitors make more informed decisions about their projects.
Visitors will be able to hear from self build and construction experts, discover the latest building methods, materials and technologies, and explore ways to create a more energy-efficient and sustainable home.
There will also be opportunities to get practical advice, ask questions and speak directly with industry professionals, as well as gather inspiration for individual self build projects.
The organisers say the programme has been designed to offer something for every stage of the self build journey, whether visitors are at the early research stage or are already preparing to break ground.
The event takes place from 10am to 4pm on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, with doors opening from 9am to 5.30pm.
The NSBRC is located at Lydiard Fields, Swindon, SN5 8UB, close to Junction 16 of the M4.
