Community Self Build Agency / Homes for Veterans

For over 30 years the Community Self Build Agency (CSBA) has helped hundreds of homeless or vulnerable people access a home through self build.In May 2019 CSBA become part of Alabaré, a charity supporting vulnerable, homeless and marginalised people.

The CSBA has completed over 178 self-build projects across the UK housing disadvantaged members of communities, with the Nelson Project in Plymouth scooping many awards.

Alabaré also runs Homes for Veterans schemes in Wales and England, with some users working with the CSBA to build their homes. Alabaré’s Homes for Veterans provide supported accommodation to British Armed Forces Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
