We believe that the self and custom build sector (SCB) can deliver more and better homes, support greater housing diversity and quality, and we want to promote this form of housebuilding locally.
We have a SCB policy PSP42, encouraging SCB, that requires developers to provide 5% SCB plots on sites over 100+ units and have our first SCB Supplementary Planning Document, which is out for public consultation.
We consistently rank in NaCSBAs top 3 councils for numbers on the SCB register.
