Seven custom build homes have been snapped up on a new eco-housing development in Nottingham.

The Meadows, on Green Street, is a £3.1m project developed by regeneration company Blueprint and features 21 two-to-four bedroom dwellings in total. The homes at ‘Green Street Phase 2’ meet the Association for Environment Conscious Building’s (AECB) Silver Standard and feature Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) units, and the option to install photovoltaic (PV) panels.
Blueprint’s Ashley Walters said: “The custom build aspect of this project enables us to gauge interest in this type of housing delivery. Based on the response we have received, we hope to be in a position to release further custom build plots in due course.”
Work on ‘Green Street Phase 2’ is expected to be completed in December 2014.
