The developer is offering homebuyers the opportunity to custom build their home according to their specifications, with prices ranging up to £385,000 for a five bedroom, 3200sqft detached home overlooking the County Durham countryside.

Neil McMillan, Director of Carillion Developments, said: “Our assisted build programme enables purchasers to bring their own individual style to key living spaces such as the bathroom and kitchen. They will also benefit from a stress-free project as their ideas are brought to reality by our experienced team.

“This is a unique development based on the plans DurhamGate has for a truly mixed-used development, which will create its own community, but also enhance the surrounding towns and villages.”
